Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore is promoted by Ministry of Textiles, Govt.of India and is the first of its kind specialized MBA course in Textile Management.

The institutes conducts SVP-MAT entrance exam for admissions to the following courses:
PGDM- Textiles
PGDM- Apparels
PGDM Retail Mgmt

Note: Students qualified in other aptitude tests like MAT, CAT, XAT, TANCET, etc. are exempted from taking SVP-MAT. However, to avail scholarship, candidate must have taken SVP-MAT

Following weightages are given for the final selection of candidates.
Score of the test (Offline/ Online) - 50%
Academic Performance (Graduation Marks) - 30%
Score of the Group Discussion (GD) - 10%
Score of the Personal Interview (PI) - 5%
Experience (CE) - 5%

Scholarship:
- Scholarship up to Rs.40, 000 /- in the first year based on the overall scores earned in SVP-MAT and other admission procedure.
- The scholarship is available for 50% of the candidates on the meritorious basis in the first year.
- Scholarship in the second year up to Rs. 40,000 /- and will be provided based on the Academic and Attendance records in the first year.
