The SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) is conducted for admission into the BTech programmes offered by Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) Pune and Nagpur, the institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

NIRF Rank : Symbiosis International (Deemed University) DOES NOT enjoy any top rank in the category “Engineering” in the NIRF 2023 Ranking by GoI.

However, it is ranked 31 in the category “University” and 52 in the category “Overall”.

Admission through other Entrance Tests : The Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) (Pune, Nagpur, and Hyderabad) also admit students through JEE Mains / MHT-CET / other state-level entrance test. If a candidate applies to seek admission on the basis of test other than SITEEE, he/she need not register for SITEEE; rather he/she may apply directly to the concerned institute through the institute website (https://www.sitpune.edu.in/ and https://sitnagpur.edu.in/).

(a) Reservation within sanctioned intake : SC 15%, ST 7.5%, Differently abled 3%
(b) Reservation over and above sanctioned intake
International student 15%
Kashmiri migrants 2 seats
Nagpur domicile : 25% (Twenty-five percent) seats in SIT Nagpur are reserved for candidates domiciled in Nagpur.

OCI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals : OCI / PIO / Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing for SITEEE and have to apply through Symbiosis Center for International Education (www.scie.ac.in).

Admission procedure: SITEEE will be conducted on two dates. A candidate can appear for SITEEE on both the dates that the exam will be held. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested
will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure the normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all two tests.
