Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) is a Deemed to be University situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. SOA was granted greater autonomy (graded autonomy) by the UGC in 2018. SOA was accredited by NAAC with an 'A++' grade (3rd cycle ).

NIRF Rank : SOA is ranked 57 in “Management” category as per NIRF 2023 rankings by Min of HRD, GoI.

In “Research Institutions”, it is ranked 49.

Reservation : 15% and 7.5% seats reserved respectively for candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe by birth (not by marriage or adoption).

30% in all categories reserved for girl candidates.

Note : Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe persons who have migrated from their state of origin to another state for the purpose of seeking education, employment etc., will be deemed to be Scheduled Caste / Tribe of state of their origin and will be entitled to derive benefits from the state of origin and not from the state to which they have migrated.

Final admission : Candidates must be qualified in SAAT 2024 or any equivalent state / national level entrance test. The institution will fill up 15% of seats in professional programmes in view of the instruction issued by the UGC (Admission to specified professional programmes 1st Amendment interim regulation, 2003). Rest of the seats will be filled up through counselling (SAAT 2024).
