Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot shall conduct Punjab Medical Entrance Test-2016 (PMET-2016) for admissions to Under- Graduate Degree courses i.e. MBBS/BDS for the year 2016 in the Government & Private Medical/Dental Institutes in the State of Punjab. Admission shall be made by the selection committee through a centralized counselling by BFUHS, Faridkot on the basis of inter-se merit of PMET-2016. PMET-2016 shall be a Computer Based Test

Out of the total seats in government institutes, 15% seats (All India Quota) in MBBS/BDS courses shall be filled by the Government of India through centralized counselling by Central Board of Secondary Examination on the basis of marks obtained in AIPMT-2016. (Rest 85% seats shall be filled by the selection committee constituted by the Government of Punjab).

MBBS or BDS: Tuition fee - Rs. 80,000/- in the first year
Hostel fee: Rs. 18,900/- p.a.

Private Institutes:
Govt. Quota (50%):
MBBS: 2,20,000/- in the first year
BDS: 165,000/- in the first year

Management Quota (50%):
MBBS: 6,60,000/- in the first year
BDS: 220,000/- in the first year

Hostel fee: Rs. 26,400/- p.a. for AC room and Rs.16,500/- fpr non-AC room in the first year. Plus security deposit of Rs. 27,500/-.

Application Procedure:
- Candidates can apply for PMET- 2016 only "Online".
- Prospectus can be downloaded from the University website http://www.bfuhs.ac.in and also obtain from University office after paying cost thereof Rs. 300/-. - The prescribed application fee of Rs.5000/- (Rs.2500/- for SC candidates) should be remitted through prescribed bank challan form or payment gateway provided using a Credit card or a Debit card issued by banks in India or through Internet Banking.
- Bank challan form will be generated after successfully submission of online registration form. Candidate will have options to generate bank challan form of Oriental Bank of Commerce or HDFC Bank or deposit fee through payment gateway available at University website.
- Application Fee should be deposited by 04-05-2016 by 04:00 pm.
