Nitte University is a Deemed University situated in Mangalore, Karnataka. It was founded by former Supreme Court Chief Justice and Lok Sabha speaker Mr. K.S. Hegde. The University offers MBBS & BDS programs via its constituent institutes. The admission to these programs is via Nitte University UG Entrance Test (NUUGET).

NUUGET-2016 shall be a Computer Based All India Entrance test in 20 cities on 09-05-2016 (Monday) between 11.00 am to 2.00 pm, for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in its constituent colleges, namely K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year 2016-2017.
Note: To familiarize with the computer based test, candidates can take a MOCK TEST in the link indicated in NUUGET website under NUUGET-2016 from 10-03-2016 onwards.

Application Procedure:
- Go to https://nitteug.online-ap1.com/ and register
- On successful completion of Candidate registration, candidate will be allotted a Unique Application Number (UAN) and password (Date of Birth), which will be intimated to the applicant by way of SMS on mobile phone, as well as E-mail ID. Candidates must login using the same and complete the rest of the registration processes(Personal & Education details, upload photograph and payment details).
- Application fee of Rs. 1750/- can be paid via Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card.
