National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, is now a Central University and also has been accorded the status of Institute of National Importance. The university has established various centres of excellence in its campus such Ballistics Research Centre and Testing Range, Cyber Defence Centre, International Centre for Forensic Narcotics, International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics.
The university has 9 campuses in India (Gujarat, Delhi, Goa, Tripura, Bhopal, Pune, Guwahati, Manipur, Dharwad) and 1 in Uganda.

NFSU offers a variety of UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D & D.Sc/D.Litt/LLD programs. NFSU offers undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
The BTech-MTech Integrated in Computer Science (5 year integrated course) is offered at 5 campuses - Gandhinagar, Delhi, Tripura, Dharwad, Guwahati.
The program develops in-depth expertise of core technical topics within the area of computer science and engineering, cybersecurity and digital forensics such as programming concepts, engineering mathematics, mobile computing, embedded system, object-oriented programming, information security, secure programming, network security, penetration testing, malware analysis, IoT security, and forensics, critical infrastructure security, IT law and ethics, and technologies and tools that support application and service vulnerability detection, incident detection, data, and log retrieval and analysis.
The course also provides a sharper focus on forensics and cyber security through the elective subjects that are offered to the learners.

Supernumerary seats
- 2 seats in each course for Children and Windows of Eligible Armed Forces Personnel (CW Category).
- 1 seat in each course for Kashmiri Migrants.
- 10% of total number of seats for foreign nationals.
- 5% for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf and South- East Asia Countries (CIWGC-SEA) (over and above foreign nationals’ seats).
Admission through JEE-Mains and NFAT: 50% Seats will be filled through JEE (Mains) Score AND 50% Seats will be filled purely on the basis of National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT) 2025.
The vacant seat will also be filled on the basis of NFAT 2025 Score.
Fee:
Tuition fee: Rs.65,000/- per semester (for semester 1 to 6). Rs.90,000/- per semester thereafter.
Hostel charges and other Univ charges are extra.
