Course offered: 3 Year B.Sc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). As per NEP 2020, there will be a 4th year option for the students to get an Honours Degree.
The course is offered by National Council for Hotel Management at its affiliated institutes and is recognised by JNU.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an Autonomous Body of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, with the task of conducting the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) w.e.f. 2019.
National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, has been set up in 1982 as an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Tourism, to centrally run and regulate academics for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and ten other structured courses of study that are imparted at the affiliated 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 30 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector Undertaking, 2 PPP run SIHMs and 24 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.
Institutes & intake: 79 affiliated institutes with 12,635 seats. Actual position will be notified before the start of online counselling.
Counseling: After the declaration of the Result, the NCHM JEE-2025 Score will be provided by NTA to NCHMCT to conduct the Counselling for the admission to the B.Sc. (HHA) Course.
Reservation: In case of institutes run by Central Government, 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST), 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the “Non Creamy Layer”(OBC-NCL) and 10% for the General Economically Weaker Section(EWS).
Each category will have 5% reservations for the candidates with 40% or more disability as defined in Section 2 (r) and 2(zc) of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
Reservation for Kashmiri Migrant / Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non migrants) residing in Kashmir valley – 1 supernumerary seat in each Central institute.
In the case of the Institutes run/aided/recognized by State Governments, the reservation policy of the respective State Governments shall be applicable.
Display of provisional answer key for challenge
NTA will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA with a Public Notice issued to this effect on the said website, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs.200/- per question challenged as processing charges. The provisional Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for two to three days.
Only paid challenges made during stipulated time through key challenge link will be considered.
The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. NTA will not inform the Candidates individually about their challenges.
No rechecking / re-evaluation / re-totalling: There is no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation/re-totalling of the result/score and no query in this regard will be entertained.
