The Government of Maharashtra has established "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" as per the provisions of Maharashtra unaided private professional Educational Institutes (Regulation of Admission & Fees) Act. 2015.

The Commissioner of State CET Cell, has been designated as Competent Authority for conducting MH- Nursing-CET 2024 entrance examination and selection of candidates for admission to the concerned course for the academic year 2024-2025.

The entrance test is applicable for admission to Government, Municipal Corporation, Govt aided, Unaided & Minority Health Science Institution / Colleges of Maharashtra.

NRIs & OCI: Non Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for maximum 15% Institute Quota including NRI Quota seats in the Unaided Private/Minority colleges.

Non Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except Institute Quota including NRI quota seats in unaided private and Private Minority colleges, subject to fulfillment of NRI status.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates will be eligible for all seats in Government and Private Unaided Institutes including 15% Institutional Quota seats of Private unaided / Minority college(s) for academic year 2024-25. Provided such candidates have passed 10th & 12th from the State of Maharashtra and should be domicile of Maharashtra State. In compliance of the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order dated 03/02/2024 in WP No 891 of 2021.
