NIRF rank: LPU was ranked no. 50 in the category “Engineering”, no. 38 in the category “University”, no. 46 in the category “Overall” and no. 42 in the category “Research” as per NIRF 2023.

Multiple rounds : LPUNEST will be conducted in multiple schedules. After the end of each schedule, the scores (subject wise as well as total) obtained by the candidates will be provided to them. The final result sheet containing the ranks of the candidates will be released. These scores will also determine the amount of scholarship one would be availing.

Counseling & Admission

After qualifying LPUNEST exam, the applicant needs to deposit the fee online mode or manually by visiting the university campus/ Camp Office. For admission, students need to follow these steps:

- Get your scorecard/ rank.

- Fill the seat preference.

- The student can give a number of preferences which can vary in stream and program. (depending upon the choice of discipline)

- The applicant will be allotted a particular programme in the first round of counselling, based upon the availability of seat and preferences filled by the applicant.

- Deposit initial fee of Rs.15000/- to confirm the seat. (Application fee: Rs.500. Rest will be adjusted under the Programme Fee of the first semester).

- Complete the Admission form.

- Following documents are required to be submitted/ uploaded

i) Passport Size Photograph

ii) Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, PAN card, Aadhaar card), Eligibility Certificate: Graduation marksheet/ transcript serves as the eligibility certificate.

iii) In case the eligibility certificate is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later on also.

- All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.

- Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.

Scholarship

The categories of scholarship are based upon performance in LPUNEST (B.Tech.), starting with 20% to 50% of programme fee.

In addition to LPUNEST (B.Tech.), scholarship is also available on the basis of following:

Scholarship based on Innovation, Startup and Entrepreneurship

Financial Aid - Need-Based
