Course(s) offered : B.Tech (including Agriculture Engg, Food Technology, Dairy Technology), B.Arch, B.Pharm
The Commissioner For Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will conduct Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering/Pharmacy Courses only. However, candidates seeking admission to B.Pharm. course shall have to appear for and qualify in Physics & Chemistry of the Engineering Entrance Examination.
The CEE will not conduct any Entrance Examination for admission to B.Arch. course and Medical & Allied courses. However, candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course should compulsorily appear for and qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA).
Candidates seeking admission to any of the Medical & Allied courses should compulsorily appear for and qualify in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Colleges, courses, intake: Please refer Annexure II(1)(a), VII(1) and VII(2) of the prospectus. The list is tentative and not complete. Final list will be published prior to start of Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).
Categorization of Seats in Govt and Aided Institutions
(a) Government seats : Merit seats against which the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations makes allotment are called ‘Government Seats’.
(i) Government seats are available in all the Govt. and Aided Colleges.
(ii) The availability of Government seats in Self-financing Colleges run by institutions under Govt. control and Private Self-financing colleges/Autonomous Colleges will be notified separately. Those candidates who seek admission in Private Self financing colleges are bound to accept the conditions stipulated in the agreement between Government, Self-financing and Autonomous College Management(s).
(b) Management Seats : The seats set apart in the Aided institutions, to be filled up by the Managements concerned are called Management Seats.
Categorization of Seats in Self-Financing Institutions
The categorization of seats in Self-financing Colleges run by institutions under Govt. control and other Private Self-financing colleges will be notified separately. As per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated: 09.05.2017 on WP(C) No. 267/2017, the allotments/admissions to the State Quota seats in all the Government as well as Private Self Financing Medical and Dental colleges shall be done through a Common Counselling to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The Common Counselling will include NRI seats in Self Financing Medical & Dental Colleges and Minority Community Quota seats in Private Self Financing Medical & Dental Colleges having Minority Status.
Admission & Rank List Preparation Procedure
(a) Admission to Engineering courses shall be regulated on the basis of merit as assessed by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the normalized score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering and the grade / marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together in the final year of the qualifying examination, after effecting the standardization procedure for computing the Index mark out of 600.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list obtained from the Board of Examination of respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
b) For admission to the Architecture course, the merit as assessed by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the ‘National Aptitude Test in Architecture’ [NATA], conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), and the grade / marks in the qualifying examination will be the criterion.
Note:
1. Admission to Medical courses, Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons) Co-operation & Banking / B.Sc (Hons) Agri Business Management, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology (Under Kerala Agricultural University), Forestry, Veterinary and Fisheries courses are regulated on the basis of merit as assessed in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2025) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Admission to the B.Pharm course is regulated on the basis of marks obtained in the Physics & Chemistry section of the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination and the rank list prepared based on this.

Note : Additional exam fee of Rs.15,000/ if Dubai or Bahrain exam centre is opted.
