Courses offered: 4 year UG program in either  B.A. (Hons), B.Sc. (Hons), BBA (Hons) and BBA (Communications Management) (Hons) with exit option at the end of 3-years.

About: FLAME University is a Private University (Jain minority institution) located in Pune.  It was formerly known as FLAME - Foundation for Liberal and Management Education.

The program comprises of Foundation Courses, Specialization Courses, Experiential Learning Courses, Value-Added Courses and Open Elective Courses.

At FLAME, various disciplines are grouped into five broad knowledge areas called ‘Universes'. The five universes are: Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine and Performing Arts, Physical and Natural Sciences & Global Studies.

Foundational Courses:

The Foundation Courses expose students to modes of thought within these universes.  Students are required to take at least two courses from each universe, preferably from different disciplines.

Specialization Courses

Students are expected to identify their areas of specialization at the end of the third term in their first year. These are divided into - the primary area of specialization, also known as the major, and the secondary area of specialization, called the minor.  For instance, students can opt for a major in Finance while pursuing Psychology as a minor.

Following areas of specializations are offered:

- B.A. (Hons) - Economics, Psychology, Literary & Cultural Studies, International Studies, Environmental Studies, Journalism, Public Policy, Sociology.
- B.Sc. (Hons) - Applied Mathematics, Data Science and Economics*, Computer Science, Computer Science and Design*.
- BBA (Hons) - Finance, Business Analytics, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Operations, Design Management.
- BBA (Communications Management) (Hons)- Advertising & Branding, Digital Marketing & Communications, Film & Television Management.

Design, Dance, Music and Theatre are offered as minors only. General Management and Communication Studies are not offered as minors.

Admission Criteria

Admissions are carried out in 5 Rounds/ Online Cycles. Each round consists of 5 stages:
Early decision Online Cycle, Online Cycle I, Online Cycle II, Online Cycle III & Online Cycle IV

Each Online Cycle consists of
- Admission Test (FEAT/SAT/ACT)
- Essay
- Online Personal Interview
- Past Academic Record
- Extracurricular activities/ achievements
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Fee:

All amounts are annual.

- Tuition fee: Rs. 8,35,000
- Lodging & Boarding: Rs. 1,85,000
- Other fee : Rs. 75,000
- Total: Rs. 10,95,000

The above is the estimated annual fee for Year 1.
Year-2: Rs. 11,45,000  |    Year-3: Rs.11,95,000    |    Year-4: 12,50,000  

Financial aid / Scholarships:
The university offers both merit-based and need-based scholarships ranging from partial to upto 100% tuition fee waiver.
