c) M.Tech (Integrated) Biotechnology : 30 (25 for General category, 5 for NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals)

Selection criteria : Based on merit obtained in India Biotechnology Online Proctor Based Common Entrance Test.

NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals category candidates are not required to appear in the entrance test. However, they shall submit a separate application, in the prescribed form, available in the Vidyapeeth office and on the Vidyapeeth website. A committee, appointed by the competent authority for the purpose shall admit candidates on the basis of their inter se merit. The candidate will be required to pay a processing fee of US $ 200.

Fee

For Biotechnology - Annual fee of Rs.2,00,000/- (includes Tuition fee, Development fee and Other fee). Fee for NRI / PIO / FN candidates is US$2,454.

Will be increased by 3% every year

The Annual Fee is to be paid by NEFT / RTGS / Demand Draft in favor of "The Director, Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Pune", payable at Pune by the student at the time of counseling and issue of admission letter.

Vidyapeeth Eligibility fee & Registration fee (One time fee, non refundable)

15% (Fifteen Percent) of the Annual Fee, payable for the first year only, shall be paid by the student separately at the time of filling in the Eligibility Application, as Vidyapeeth Eligibility & Registration Fee. This fee shall be paid by a Demand Draft (DD) Drawn in favor of "Registrar, Dr.D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth” payable at Pune.

(Note: The Vidyapeeth Eligibility & Registration Fee is non-refundable)

Hostel accommodation & fee

Hostel and Mess facilities (on payment basis) are available on the campus for both boys and girls who wish to avail the same.

Vidyapeeth Examination Fees

In addition to the above fees the student shall pay the Vidyapeeth Examination Fee as prescribed by the Vidyapeeth from time to time.
