This entrance exam is discontinued from the year 2022. The admissions will now be through the merit obtained in Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) conducted by NTA. Please check CUET-UG for details.
Program: Five Year Integrated Program in Journalism
The Delhi School of Journalism was established in 2017 and will focus on imparting knowledge and skills to the prospective students in a) Media, Communication and Culture b) News Reporting and Editing c) Writing for Media d) Media Production in all Formats – Print, Broadcast (TV and Radio), Film and Online e) Advertising and Public Relations f) Political Economy of Media g) Media Technology h) Communication for Development.
- The program will have an exit option after three years; in that case the student will be awarded Degree of Bachelor of Journalism (BJ).
- The students completing two years post graduate course will be awarded the Degree of Master of Journalism (MJ).
- Courses will be taught separately for English and Hindi Medium students.
- The program includes four foreign languages (French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic) and four regional languages (Tamil, Bengali, Sanskrit and Urdu) in ten semesters. A student requires to opt for one foreign language and one regional language from the above choices. The admission to this program is via Entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

Reservation:
- SC: 15% ; ST: 7.5% ; OBC: 27% (non-creamy layer) ; EWS: 10%
- Upto 5% seats are also reserved for Person with Disability(PwD).
- 5% of the seats in each course have to be offered to the Children/Widows of Officers and Men of the ARMED Forces including Para- Military Personnel, in the order of preference.
- 5% seats are also reserved for Kashmiri Migrants. Such candidates will be required to get their name registered online
- 5% Seats are reserved for Sports and ECA quota.
Fee:
- 1st semester: Rs. 39,500/-
- 2nd semester: Rs. 28,000/-
- Caution Deposit: Rs. 10,000/-
- 15 students (25%) will be given free-ships based on their economic status. The free-ships may range from 10% to 100% and will be determined case by case.
