Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) Assam is conducted by Assam Science & Technology University, Guwahati for admission to B.Tech. programme in the colleges of Assam.

Assam Science and Technology University will not conduct counselling of CEE. The ASTU is authorized only to conduct the Examination. However, candidates are advised to collect information regarding total number of seats available in the institutions or the eligibility and reservation criteria etc. from the Director of Technical Education, Govt of Assam, Kahilipara, if required.

Reservations and guide lines of counselling will be as per the Govt. of Assam rules and regulations.

Exemption from entrance test: First position holder(s) in the Higher Secondary (Science) Examination of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council provided she/he gets not less than 85% marks in aggregate in the year in which she/he seeks admission.

Such candidates must apply within 7 (SEVEN) days from the date of results declared by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council to the Director of Technical Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19.
