CAPTest (Communication Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam conducted by Amrita Schol of Communication (ASCOM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission to its 3 year BA (Mass Communication) program.  The program is offered from their Coimbatore campus only.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a University established under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The University focuses on higher education and research in the areas of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Science, Education, Mass Communication and Social Work. The University has five campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysore.

- Based on Communication Aptitude Test - CAPTEST (Entrance Exam)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Skype Interview (for those candidates who are not able to attend CAPTEST with genuine reason)

Hostel (Annual incl Caution deposit): Rs. 49,000/-
Mess Fee (Annual): Rs. 48,000/-
