Dr. Patangrao Kadam established Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune in 1964. Now, it conducts more than 180 educational units including 80 Colleges of 12 faculties. They include colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Hotel Management and the like.

Campuses : Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has campuses in Pune, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad and New Delhi. Bharati Vidyapeeth University has two campuses in Pune, one on Pune-Satara Road and another at Erandwane. The College of Engineering is located at Pune-Satara Road Campus.

Candidates desirous of getting admission under these Category will have to apply to The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. 

Foreign National / PIO / OCI / NRI / Institutional Quota Merit Seats : Fifteen percent (15%) of the sanctioned intake in each branch are reserved for Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI / Institutional Quota Merit candidates. Candidates desirous of getting admission under these Categories will have to apply to The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. 

Fee structure

(a) Annual fee : Rs.1,31Lacs to Rs.3.67Lacs

(b) Additional charges payable towards value added course of Network Security, Caution Money Deposit, Smart Card and Dress Code

(c) Hostel fee not included in above

Hostel : There are a few seats available in the hostel which will be allotted on first come first served basis.

Counseling : Shall be done at BVDU, College of Engineering, Pune-Satara Road, Dhankawadi, Pune-43.
