About the University : The Banaras Hindu University, established in 1916 by Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviyaji, is one of the most prestigious universities of the country. Institute of Medical Sciences has three distinct faculties viz: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Ayuraveda and Faculty of Dental Sciences under the Institute of Medical Sciences. There are 44 Departments of broad specialties including eleven Super specialties in the Faculty of Medicine, 15 Departments in Faculty of Ayurveda. B Pharma (Ayurveda) is running at RGSC Mirzapur under Faculty of Ayurveda

BOT and BPT courses are running in the Department of Orthopedics.

Each course is of four-and-a-half-year duration including six months’ compulsory rotatory internship.

B. Pharma (Ay) (self-financing course) (37 seats). General-15, OBC (non-creamy layer)-10, SC-06, ST-03,EWS-03.

BOT (self-financing course) (25 seats) : General-10, OBC (non-creamy layer)-07, SC-04, ST-02, EWS-02.

BPT (self-financing course) (25 seats) : General-10 (including 1 seat for PC Category), OBC (non-creamy-layer)-07, SC-04, ST-02, EWS-2.

No scrutiny of answer sheet : Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained anywhere in the ordinances of the university, no scrutiny / revaluation of the answer sheet shall be allowed on any ground.
