Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune was granted Deemed-to-be University status under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, in 2003.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, and Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pimpri, Pune are constituent units of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University. Admissions to MBBS & BDS programs of these constituent institutes is done via All India Common Entrance Test – (AICET).

MBBS: 250 seats
BDS: 100 seats

MBBS - Tuition & other fee - Approx Rs. 10,75,000/- per yr
BDS - Tuition & other fee - Approx Rs. 4,30,000/- per yr
University registration fee (one-time fee) which amounts to 10% of annual tuition fee is payable in the first year additionally
Hostel Fee per year per student including food Rs. 1,50,000/- per year

Application Procedure:
- Application form fee is to be paid via DD of Rs.2600/- (Rs.600/- Application Fee + Rs.2000/- Test Fee) if submitted before 30/04/2016 5:00 PM. - If submitted after 30/04/2016, candidate needs to make a DD of Rs. 2850/- which includes a late fee of Rs.250/-. Late submission is allowed until 07/05/2016 5:00 PM.
- Candidates need to send DD Favoring "The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune", Payable at Pune.
- Admit Card will be made available on the Vidyapeeth website seven days before the Entrance Test.
