Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Puducherry is a Deemed University that conducts two separate exams for MBBS & BDS Admissions -
SBVDUMCET for MBBS Admissions into
a) Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (Puducherry) and
b) Shri Satya Sai Medical College and Research Institute (Chennai).
AND
SBVDUDCET for BDS Admissions into Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences (Puducherry)
Eligibility:
- All India basis
- Any HSC/Class XII/pre-university course equivalent from a recognized board in India with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology/Botany) / Biotechnology and also English as a compulsory subject
- A candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as the qualifying examination.
- In addition he/she must have secure a minimum of 50% marks in the Common Entrance Test

Multiple Choice Questions consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
