KHMAT 2025 Applications Open for BHMCT Admissions in Kerala - Non-Keralites Eligible

The LBS Centre for Science and Technology, on behalf of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala, has opened applications for the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) program for the academic year 2025–26. This professional four-year course is a gateway to careers in hotel management, hospitality, travel, tourism, and entrepreneurship in the service sector.

The Kerala Hotel Management Aptitude Test (KHMAT) is the common entrance route for merit-based seats across seven self-financing institutions in Kerala affiliated with Kerala Technological University. The BHMCT program blends theory and practical exposure, equipping students with culinary, hospitality, and managerial skills that meet global industry standards.

> Who Can Apply?
Students across India are welcome. Even if you're not a Kerala native, you can apply under the Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). However, it's important to note that all entrance exam centers will be located in Kerala.

> Availability of Seats
There are a total of 780 seats, with 420 offered through the KHMAT entrance route (merit quota) and the remaining 360 under the management quota. The tuition fee varies between ?60,000 and ?75,000 per annum depending on the college.
