JEE Mains Session 1 Rescheduled, Now Clashes 4 Engg Entrance Exams
Published on : 15-Mar-2022 Powered by www.Opasis.comOwing to JEE (Mains) 2022 Session 1 dates clashing with some Board examinations, National Testing Agency (NTA) had released new dates for the same. Earlier planned to be conducted from 16 to 21 April, it will now be held on 6 days between 21 Apr and 4 May. With this rescheduling, JEE (Mains) Session 1 dates now clash /overlap atleast 4 other engineering entrance exams.
This year, the JEE Mains will be conducted in 2 Sessions, the second session being in the last week of May.
Revised dates
Last date to apply for Session : 31 March 2022 (No change)
Entrance exam Session 1 : 21, 24, 25, 29 Apr and 1, 4 May (earlier dates were 16 to 21 April 2022)
Applications for Session 2 : 8 April to 3 May 2022 (no change)
Entrance exam Session 2 : 24 to 29 May 2022 (no change)
Entrance exams clashing with JEE (Mains) Session 1 : It may please be noted that the Session 1 dates of JEE (Mains) clash / overlap the entrance exam dates of SRMJEEE, Tripura TJEE-Eng, West Bengal WBJEE and HITSEEE. Besides these engineering entrance exams, it also has clash/overlap issue with AILET, NIRMA BDesign entrance and UPES-DAT.

English and Tamil : Examination Centres in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Island

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination
Only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or those who are appearing in Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2022, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2022.
Candidates who passed Class 12/equivalent examination in 2019 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2022.
