J&K CET 2022 for BTech by BOPEE, Clashes KVPY & CMI Test

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), established by an Act of the State Legislature, is entrusted with the task of conducting entrance tests and recommending candidates for admission to various professional courses in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. These, interalia, include BE/BTech (Engineering Courses). The Common Entrance Test (JAKBOPEE-CET) will be conducted for the purpose of determining merit of the students for admission the undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) Courses in the Government run and privately managed institutions of J&K.

Key dates for JAKBOPEE-CET

Last date to apply online : 7 April 2021

Date of exam : 22 May 2022

Entrance exams clashing with JAKBOPEE-CET: Please note that two other entrance exams are scheduled to be conducted on the same date (22 May 2022) – one for admission in the prestigious Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI-Maths-BSc) and the other being the premium KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana). Unless the date is changed, students will have to forego any 2 of these opportunities.

Domicile requirement for JAKBOPEE-CET : The candidate must have a valid Residence proof certificate UT of J&K or of Ladakh as the case may be, in order to be eligible for admission.
