IIT Mandi, 5 Yr Integ MBA DS & AI, Admission Through JEE Mains

The School of Management at IIT Mandi will accept online applications, till 19 May 2025 (5PM), from eligible candidates for 2025 admissions in its niche 5-Year Integrated Master of Business Administration (IMBA) – Data Science & Artificial Intellgence program which it introduced in 2024.

Dual degree: After successful completion of the five years of the IMBA program, the students shall be awarded two separate degrees as below:

a) BBA Analytics (Honors) (under the Integrated Master of Business Administration program) and

b) MBA DS & Al (under the Integrated Master of Business Administration program).

Intake: 72 seats including 20% supernumerary seats for female candidates.

Early exit options

a) After successful completion of three years, upon exit, the student would be awarded a BBA Analytics degree.

b) After successful completion of four years, upon exit, the student would be awarded a BBA Analytics (Honors) degree.

Entrepreneurship opportunity & flexibility: For serious student entrepreneurs, the course allows a sabbatical of up to one year to pursue an innovative startup venture.

Selection process: The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the NTA score obtained by them in the JEE (Main) Examination (Paper 1) 2025. A certain number of applicants will be called for the next step of the admission process – Personal Interview.

Final merit will be based on below criteria:

- 70% weightage for NTA score in the JEE (Main) Examination (Paper 1) 2024.

- 30% weightage for Personal Interview.

Eligibility: Applicants meeting all the following four criteria are eligible to apply.

a) The applicants must have passed 12th (or equivalent) with a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD).

b) The applicants must have compulsorily studied Mathematics and English at class 12th (or equivalent) level.

c) The applicants must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025 exam and obtained a Final NTA SCORE for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.).

d) The Final NTA SCORE for JEE (Main) 2025 Paper 1 of the applicant must be equal to or higher than the “Category-wise Cut-off NTA Score for writing JEE (Advanced) - 2025 for Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech.)” mentioned in the JEE (Main) 2024 Paper 1 Scorecard 2025.
