ICAR-AIEEA-UG-2018 Re-exam : Verify application and make test centre choice by 5 Aug

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), vide a notification no. Egril.Edn.1(23)/2017-ExamCell(Pt.) dated 12 July 2018, had cancelled the AIEEA-UG-2018 exam held on 23 June 2018. The exam is no scheduled to be conducted again, this time in OFFLINE MODE, on 18 Aug 2018. The examination will be limited to only those candidates who had applied earlier for ICAR's 23rd All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA) conducted in CBT Mode on 22.06.2018 and 23.06.2018 which was subsequently cancelled due to administrative reasons.

The exam is conducted for admission in 10 Bachelor Degree programmes of 4 Year duration as listed below :

(a) BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Community Science, Sericulture

(b) BFSc

(c) B.Tech in Agriculture Engg, Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Biotechnology

3 Key changes to be noted

Exam mode changed from Online to Offline

Online portal changed. All further activities will be executed through the website and  The earlier website shall NO LONGER BE USED for any further online activities.

No representation for re-evaluation/re-checking shall be entertained. However, the candidate may be allowed to inspect his/her own OMR Answer Sheet along with answer key or given a copy there of, if representation / request to this effect is submitted by the candidate in his or her own handwriting and signature within 10 days from the date of declaration of result on ICAR website along with a copy of e-admit card, copy of Application form and Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) drawn in favour of “Secretary, ICAR Education Division Revolving Fund”payable at New Delhi.

What does an applicant need to do now

Owing to the changeover to offline exam, ICAR has instructed the candidates to follow the below procedure for Online verification and updating exam city center choices for offline mode (OMR based) Re-exam :

The earlier website shall NO LONGER BE USED for any further online activities.

All the candidates who had earlier applied for Online exam (Which has now been cancelled) will be required to follow this procedure for RE-EXAM in Offline mode.

Candidates will get their login ID and newly generated password on their registered email.

After logging in, the details filled earlier by the candidates will be displayed on the screen. Candidate has to just verify his / her details and update the desired fields.

All fields required to be filled will be clearly identifiable by the mark “# #”.

All candidates have to select their examination city center AGAIN. The centers filled earlier are INVALID and are of no use now. Candidate should give three choices as first, second and third preferences.

If any candidate does not follow this procedure, then ICAR will be at liberty to allot him / her any center of its choice and candidate shall be bound to accept it. No complaints will be taken in this regard after this application window is closed.

Those candidates who could not fill their OGPA/marks earlier due to non-declaration of result may do so now. This will be required for their merit generation. No candidate shall be considered as Result awaited /appearing candidate henceforth.

Due to time shortage, this updation will be permitted only once. After submitting the application, the candidate will not be able to add / modify any field.

After completing the application, the candidate should submit it. Then take a printout of the form. He/she has to put thumb impression (his left/her right hand) and declaration in handwriting-“I agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the examination as contained in the Information Bulletin, which I have duly studied and understood thoroughly” on the last page of print-out. The hard copy of print out has to be posted to Controller of Examinations (Agril. Edn.), Examination Cell, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-II, Pusa, New Delhi. An address slip will also be printed along with the form so that the candidate can paste it on the envelope to avoid any mistake in the address. Candidate should retain printout of same for counselling purpose.
