Five Un-aided Private Medical Colleges in Pondicherry State have formed an Association in the name of *Pondicherry Linguistic and Religious Minority Medical & Dental Colleges Welfare Association*. Pondicherry Linguistic And Religious Minority Medical And Dental Colleges Welfare Association conducts Entrance Exam CETPPMC for admissions into MBBS & BDS courses under Management Quota of its member institutions namely -
MBBS: 1. The Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences
2. Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital
3. Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre
BDS:
4. Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Mahe
5. Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, Puducehrry
Eligibility:
- All India basis.
- Candidate should have passed the H.Sc.(Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40 % for SC/OBC) in the following subjects:
Biology(Botany & Zoology)/Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology.
- The Candidate should also have taken English as one of the Subject.
- Candidates should be 17 years of age as on 31st December on the year preceding the calendar year of appearing for CETPPMC. However, no upper age limit has been prescribed.
Date of Exam:
BDS: 30th May
MBBS: 31st May
Test Pattern:
- Offline Test
- Objective Type Test in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
- Duration:
-- Phy & Chemistry - 2hrs
-- Botany & Zoology - 2 hrs
