CAT regstrations jump 6.3%, Highest since 2010

Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs has recorded 2,32,434 registrations this year against 2,18,664 candidates registering last year, an increase of 6.3%. This is the highest number since 2010.

- 2016 Male / female candidates : 67% / 33%
- 2016 PwD Male / PwD Female : 82.52% / 17.48%

Almost half of the 14,000 additional registrations this year have come from female candidates.
