Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra conducts MAH-MBA / MMS-CET for MBA seats across 313 Institutes in the state of Maharashtra. Of these, Maharashtra State seats constitute 85% seats, and 15% to All India seats.

Intake:
34295 seats in MBA across various aided & un-aided institutions across the state of Maharashtra.

Following categories of candidates can apply:
Maharashtra State seats:
a) Home University (HU) seats: Certain percentage (70%) of seats as per the type of institute is reserved for Home University candidates i.e. for the University under the jurisdiction of which that institute is located.
b) Other than Home University seats (OHU): 15% of seats as per the type of institute is reserved for Other Universities i.e. for the Universities other than the University under the jurisdiction of which that institute is located.
For Maharashtra State Seats, candidates must have taken the MH-CET Entrance Exam

c) All India Seats : These seats are available for allotment through CAP for both eligible Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State candidates. Provision of reservation for backward class categories is not available i.e. All India level seats are treated as belonging to the *General Category*.
Outside Maharashtra candidates can apply under All India seats and the CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAH-MBA/MMS-CET scores are also valid for this category.

d) Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Seats: One seat over and above the sanctioned intake capacity in each management institute is available under the CAP
